Dance
Dance is not a common sport to be supported by a non-profit sports company. However, SPORTS4All wants to ensure that everyone is included regardless of their interest. We offer dance classes once a week with the goal is build basic level skills. They will learn short dances each week varying from ballet, jazz, and hip hop. The different genres of dance will allow each dancer to feel comfortable trying new skills while being able to excel in a style they love!
Dance season typically occurs during the winter months: November - February. At the end of the season, the dancers will have the opportunity to perform their skills for family and friends.
Dance can improve overall health without consciously thinking about it. Our dancers are increasing their heart rate and breathing while doing something fun they enjoy. This can improve their cardiovascular fitness. Strength and stability is also improved as we teach dancers how to move with coordination and balance.
