Softball

Softball is one of the fasting growing sports in women's athletics today. Softball is a sport that is held in the spring and summer months in Ohio due to it being an outside sport, and the weather needs to decant enough for the children to play. With this being said the sport can typically start around the month of May and go all summer long through August when the kids go back to school.
Our goal for this sport of Softball throughout our organization of SPORTS4ALL is to have the kids practice two times a week so we will be able to show the fundamentals of the game. For example, hitting, fielding, running, pitching/catching, etc fundamentals.
Another goal of ours with this sport of Softball throughout our organization of SPORTS4ALL is to teach the athletes what it looks like to be a good teammate to one another, and what true sportsmanship is. Communication is also a big aspect of the game of Softball, so we want to teach our kids to talk and communicate well so not only it helps them on the field with their teammates but also in classroom and world alone. The game of softball is also very mental so with that being said it is good to start this sport with the younger generation to teach them not everything is going to go perfect in their life but they just gotta rub some dirt on it and keep up going!
In conclusion, we picked this as one of our sports for SPORTS4ALL because we want it to be fun. But, the game of softball is also very health conscious for the kids as well. The game of softball increases flexibility, improves mental health, develops leadership skills, and boosts self-esteem overall.
Here at SPORTS4ALL we can't wait to see everyone at the ball park!
